‘Fun’, ‘stimulating’, ‘helpful’, ‘inspiring’…
That’s some of the words used to sum up two days with me talking about suicide, depression, self-harm and stigma.
I had a great couple of days running Scottish Mental Health First Aid with Govanhill Baths. We were joined by various third sector representatives and it was fab to hear about their great work on the front line.
Mental health might not be easy to talk about… but I can at least make it fun.
Such a privilege to hear how people are more confident in helping those in distress in future. It’s a joy to share my knowledge-bank of resources with others.
