With her natural curiosity and enthusiasm, Lynn relishes working with children. Due to her passion for equality, diversity and mental health, her work is underpinned by key principles in healthy development and attachment. She has a particular interest in working with and supporting children with additional support needs and creates resources and training for adults on this.
As a part-time playworker, Lynn uses creativity to support children in communication and self-expression which unlocks powerful ways for them to share their thoughts, feelings, and ideas. By fostering a creative environment, Lynn gives children the freedom to develop their own voices, connect with others, and build essential communication skills that will support them throughout their lives.
Much of her work with children also translates into her work with adults, including boundaries, safeguarding, making adjustments, speaking clear English and embodying a sense of fun.
Below showcases just a taste of this work, and most of these activities were very low cost showing creativity on a budget!
